Brand meaning

Cocoon means "cocoon", the cocoon is like a "house" to incubate and nurture a small caterpillar so that one day it will turn into a beautiful and gorgeous butterfly. From that meaning, Cocoon is the "house" to take care of the skin and hair of Vietnamese people, helping them become more beautiful, more perfect and shine in their own way. Cocoon was born with a simple reason to beautify Vietnamese people from close and familiar raw materials. Nature has also favored our Vietnamese nature with an extremely rich world of plants from fruits to herbs. Inside them are hidden valuable nutrients that are not only delicious to eat but also very good when applied to the skin and hair. Therefore, there is no reason for us to refuse such an available and wonderful source of raw materials.

Cosmetics, like food, are “nutritious dishes” that bring beauty to people. With the progress of society, people tend to look for foods from plants to protect their health. Along with this thinking, vegan cosmetics have also begun to become a favorite trend of many people following a green lifestyle. That is the reason why Cocoon has researched and continuously launched 100% vegan cosmetic products that retain the nutrients of Vietnamese plants, are safe, benign, do not use ingredients from animals and say no to animal testing.

Philosophy

We are nature lovers, always passionate about discovering familiar ingredients in the daily lives of Vietnamese people from vegetables and fruits, to find a way to put them into cosmetic products so that their nutrients are retained intact and perfect. These foods are rich in vitamins, antioxidants and minerals to enhance skin health. So what could be better than putting them on your skin in the most complete way possible. Through the process of research and testing, the formulas were formed and became perfect. They have worked and met the expectations of Vietnamese people: safe and effective.

Commitment

100% of raw materials have clear origins and are safe for the skin: this is our absolute promise and commitment. All raw materials in our products have documents proving their origin from domestic and foreign raw material suppliers. All cosmetic products, before being put on the market, are researched for 12 to 24 months, tested to pass microbiological tests, pH, stability over time, temperature, irritation (according to the standards of the Japanese DRC center with a branch in Thailand) and must fully comply with the regulations and circulation on the market according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health of Vietnam. Of course, our products are formulated without ingredients such as parabens, formaldehyde, phthalates, hydroquinone, triclosan, .... In fact, we prohibit hundreds of harmful ingredients and regularly update this list according to the standards of the Ministry of Health of Vietnam. We always do this because we respect the law and your skin.

100% vegan: we do not use ingredients of animal origin commonly found in cosmetics such as: honey, beeswax, lanolin, sheep placenta, snail secretion, shark liver oil, silk, etc. Instead, we use and maximize the potential of active ingredients and plant extracts without the support of ingredients of animal origin.

100% never tested on animals: Cocoon's cosmetic formulas are researched and tested by laboratory tests (in-Vitro test) or on volunteers (in-Vivo test). At the same time, raw material suppliers also go hand in hand and commit that they do not test on animals during the research and production of those ingredients. We do not conduct animal testing such as rabbits, mice, fertilized egg yolks,... because of humanity and our unwavering promise to our customers and the community.
